Our first blizzard

My first blizzard in 20 years of living in Kansas (unfortunately on the day we were planning to leave for Phoenix). We (the dog and I) made the best of it by taking a long walk so we could feel the full effect.

In Memory

The candle lighting took place a week late, but thankfully absent of snow and ice. What an incredible process it is to plan, implement and take part in a ceremony honoring those who have gone before.

Postponed

According to 3 local meteorologists there is going to be a quarter inch of ice by morning. After much consideration, I reluctantly postponed the SIDS Network Annual Candle Lighting scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. Now we wait to see if ice appears or if all the rearranging was for not...

I will never have a blog!

Famous last words. Here it is, the beginning of blogging. If I keep my blog updated can I skip the sending of a Christmas letter? This would be the picture on the letter, if so.
